Going to be a full week, once tomorrow is done. Today everyone had a significant flub, a forgotten something, a wrong sided set up, a discarded needed item, a missed thingamabob. Came home after falling victim to several neglected assists that really should have happened, and my own patience wearing thin. D short sleep, not up to the challenge.
Loud storm rolled through about midnight, hollywood lightening through the windows, rolling blasting thunder, thick downpouring rain. Came out this morning to disheveled sunflowers lounging across the walk, pulling down the onions with them. Partly uprooted, when I got home, I finished the job. Hard-hitting rain, over an inch in about an hour. Flash flooding in and around, in urban areas that means floating cars and flooded basement apartments. Our basement is fine so far, and the car has no intentions of boating.
Mild evening, zephyrs wafting about, we sit on the porch with the mosquito netting over the umbrella to protect mosquito attracting persons. Ease and beauty, we read and murmur, watching the clouds.

Watching clouds is one of the best things. I love the mosquito netting idea and may need to steal it in future.
Went to a girls' softball game last night. At last week's game the team couldn't pick up a ball to save their souls. Much better last night, everyone more awake and effective.
Hapless days can and do happen, hopefully not too often considering your line of work.
There was a chance of thunder storms but we received none.

Nimble,
Oh, feel free, it's good stuff to have around.
Phil,
Oh, it's pretty common, but we have so many checks it usually gets corrected quickly. Complex tasks, you know. Breaks in sterility are daily, uncorrected, significant ones are very rare. Like the time a resident's eye shield fell into a surgical wound. Lots of antibiotic irrigation, and a change in what kinds of shields were allowed after that.
