Dug

This is Coco. Coco came in with a young human friend, so he got a hat (from a hospital sock) and a bandage on his elbow (purple coban so as not to pull on his fur) and a sling (from a mask). A new, but patient and faithful friend.

Doing a bit better these days, focus is still on the elephant rampaging. Dug in, no panic, just that steady stream to get through.

Spending time every day watering tomatoes and establishing plants. Fennel coming up in the back. Planning for fall, wheat around the edges, sunflowers along the fence in back, moving the black iris bulbs.

Oh hello there Coco. Why did you mentioned fall. Jeez I am still trying to figure out summer. I mean, right you are but why does time fly.
Hang on in there anyway. Look after yourself.

Best wishes to Coco. He's getting the best care, obviously.

Sabine,
Coco is with his human friend, hopefully a great comfort.

Fall, because I know what still needs to be done, but it's too late for this summer.

RR,
It's the creative bits that cheer me up so often.

Seems early to me to be thinking of Fall when summer hasn't even started yet.

Mind, today and tomorrow the forecast has been summer like weather, finally.
