Addendum: Salt Lake City - 4568 ft 7 AM Sun    11.0" /28cm  snow, 1.50"/ 3.8cm water.

And we got 0.75", 1.9cm, water out of this storm, and it's still going.  Soaking in the cardboard under sand. Compost next week sometime. I'm not driving in this if I don't have to.

This was part of why I went all out yesterday, but this result is better than expected.

That's so gratifying, when you do all that hard work and then you get just the right weather. I had the experience a few days ago, dividing, replanting perennials..... and then it poured with rain. Other people were moaning about it - but not me!

RR,

I do watch weather reports carefully, and then occasionally get lucky. My joints are complaining, but it was worth it.

Also thinking of planting some sort of radish, maybe daikon. Grow stuff to get the soil energized.

gz,
My back is doing pretty good. And we got more rain and snow!

Cat,
Stop it. Rain is good, snow belongs here.

Nimble,
It's a little blessing on the project.
