"One Word" has been included in our A Sunday Drive for this week. Be assured that we hope this helps to point even more new visitors in your direction.
Yesterday evening I parked and had to sit a few minutes in my car watching the goldfinches and monarch butterflies visiting the tall! sunflowers and coneflowers. Such a lot of pretty.

the article about dirt appeals to me ... maybe that's why i love the smell of the damp woods at the bus stop on putney heath
Jerry,
I'm not really looking for more visitors, we have a very nice little bunch right now. But thanks.
tristan,
I'm sure you are right.
Fascinating article on dirt - read some of the related ones, too.
Your photos are great! Wonderful portraits of house finches (especially the one eyeing you back!) and the bee shots.
Nice post to wake up to; thanks, Z.
Crow,
Modern Farmer is an unexpectedly wonderful site, I visit there often.
I have learned to love bees.
