Chocolate

Same price as the usual one.

Must do some substantial cleaning, since we will be having family* over for the holiday. My idea, my suggestion, my invitation.

Gratitude is everything.

Worth cleaning and fussing, cooking and shopping.

Life gives it's compensations, little treats. Just so we can see the enormity of compassion.

*D's kin.

Ooooh! Belgian chocolate. Nice one!

RR,
Oh, the usual one is Belgian, but only has almonds, not cranberries nor ginger…

Is it the therapy that has you (apparently more easily) opening your house to kin, or is it the familiarity?

Yes, with respect to house tidying, my house needs a lot of work. Fortunately we had our TG back in October, so we only need to worry about entertaining at Christmas time.

Phil,
Cooking here is not a trigger. I love having people here. House, the Home, gives me energy and peace, welcoming others in is a pleasure.
