Meanderings and mutterings. Cats. Garden. Weather.
I just finished reading a book (Straphanger) that had much about trains and public transit in cities all over the world.I am a regular train user in my commute to work; I find it the most civilized form of public transit, at least, here where I live.
Oh, that brings to mind one of my favourite Japanese mystery novels, Ten to sen (1958; Points and Lines, 1970) by Matsumoto.
Oooh! A reading list. Love it. I have my Krazy Kats for the moment, and a fantasy short story set, but after that... trains.
What a beautiful painting. Makes me want to go out and photograph trains.
