Ugly
Gods, it's all over the place, in an ugly font. An extra page to get to this hideous place to post. Huge change, no benefit, and unpleasant to deal with, just so that some more ipads and buttons can be happy, writers be damned.
It is like the empty page in a typewriter.
And I'm posting this on the wrong site. Oh, well, let it stay. I think I will be taking a blogging break as I figure out where I want this to be.
Gone the days when one can resize and change things to be most comfortable. It's like I can't have the table and light close by, with a pile of books. Now it's a spacious, cold, clean hotel, everything bolted down. Which is fine in a hotel, but this is where I live.
Want to find someplace more cozy.
Oh, and no View Blog link, had to find my own link back to my site, none on the post page.

I've got one row of things with a box and a pencil on it to click and write, then a box to see comments, and if there are comments under it, click on the number and you go to that, then a box that says view blog.
I can't see the problem- or perhaps we're not all seeing the same thing?
I know that you can't embed videos yet, just put a link.
It looks more like the word processing bit of a computer, but if I can follow it....:-)
Ai, it hasn't hit me yet, thought they've been threatening me with April for weeks, or maybe months.
gz,
It's not about me being too dumb to understand it. I just don't like it. It's hard for me to scan the bare page to find a tiny spot. And that huge space for text is off putting. If I could resize it to my comfortable eye scanning size, it wouldn't be so bad.
Dale,
And I haven't like how comments display, either. And you only recently revamped your site, looks so nice now.
Yes, what for some people as a GUI improvement, for others invariably is a GUI regression. I am not too pleased with it either.
Just tried my first blog post with the new revamped thingie. Don't like that big white space either ... I can't manipulate it to avoid having to type on the very bottom of the screen. Aargh.
