Misty

Another front blew through, but left no rain this time. Just an impressive cloud that soon after dissipated.

Then I noticed this brilliant vehicular configuration.

We're listening to Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me. Just finished the MS3K cast and writer interviews on three dvds from the Library. If there are any non-'mericans out there who think this is a completely witless country, Mystery Science Theater is the best proof to the contrary. Of course what they are doing is insulting the worst movies made in this same country, so it's also evidence that the detractors are at least half right. I'll admit to half-witless.

I think the same front that pushed through here is the same one that pushed through your neighborhood.

We are having unseasonably cool weather here in south-central PA, but I like it. Nice breezes keep the heat from turning the moisture into mugginess, which we would normally have right about now.

I've thought about getting one of those tear-drop trailers to tow behind my Jimmy, or a three-wheeler motorcycle/trike.

Enjoyed this post very much.

I've never seen MS3K, although I've heard it praised enough, but... I just remember Tim Burton's portrayal of Ed Wood watching Vampyra and complaining that she didn't show proper respect for the movies.

Then again, watching some clips on youTube, these were films of the 'so bad they're... bad' variety.

Pacian,

If you ever get a hold of any MST3K, 1. Watch it with friends. It's never as funny alone. And most important 2. Don't try to watch even their version of Manos: The Hands of Fate. They went too far, and they knew it, and it's just an exercise in masochism. Just Don't. Really.
