It's not quite cold enough for any kind of sweater. Yet. But I live in hope, and found my new favorite sweater at a catalogue outlet store in town that has some amazing sales prices on quality stuff. Soft, cozy, I dream of cold and rain. Today, 90(32) and going up, in particular.
Update, it's nearly 5PM, the temp is 97˚(30C), humidity 7%.
We were pondering today how people who have had such a hot, dry, searing summer, could cry over cooler weather and rain. Why the hostile judgement against rain? Crazy talk.
I want to wear my sweater and raincoat. Can't come soon enough for me.

We've had the wettest August since records began (or something along those lines) so today I'm not as enthusiastic about rain as I might otherwise be.
I know what you mean though. And bargains are always cheering.
Snap - I love autumn. It's coming soon, whatever.
Favourite time of year here too.
And we LOVE rain here:)
I'm with you--out of my element if I'm not wearing a sweater and comfortable in it.
well, you should consider the pacific nw where we have plenty of rain in winter and spring and where the temps have been in the 60s now for 3 weeks. i wore a light jacket today and still have it on inside! this summer was cool and more wet than normal since we rarely have summer rain. usually, however, after 2.5 months with no rain we are ready for the late fall rains to begin and the permission they bring to stay inside, cozy by the fire, reading, playing scrabble, napping.
hope the weather will soon bring the sweater out for its first introduction.
mm, sky,
Too much of anything is too much. We have had no measurable rain all summer. The complaint is against those people here who have had no rain at all, and a weekend with a chance of rain makes them upset, that they may have to wash their car or take a jacket to hike.
