The cobby type is comprised of a compact body, a deep chest, short legs, and a broad head. This cat's eyes are large and round. Cobby breeds appear heavy-set due to their short and wide bodies, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're fat. Cat breeds considered in the Cobby category include Persians and Manx.
Trying not to despair of this place I live. Watching the KKK rise again terrifies me. I have to get up and go to work and take care of what I can, and it all feels too much. Missing Moby. We've lost John LeCarre, his books so much of our early days together.
So, I read Hogfather again, and hold on until tomorrow.

I wonder what conditions prevailed where Cobby cats developed.
That last picture of Zeppo makes me want to pet him. This holiday season seems to be a season of death. I just learned that a woman I worked with years ago died suddenly in her sleep.

Death is all around us, so sad for you about your friend.
I find myself utterly confused a lot of the time, unable to understand what motivates people to be selfish and careless ad filled with so much hate. as i grow older, i feel like my understanding of myself is growing, but my understanding of the world is crumbling away. trying to reduce my exposure to (bad) news, but it's not easy. trying to read more news from future crunch because their faith in humanity bolsters mine somewhat.

I find the cruelty of it all far too comprehensible, as a hard wired part of human nature. Lashing out, murderous, unfocused fury against the "other" or anyone really. Our mental flaws expressed on a societal scale. The abusive cycle played out globally.
Read any history, and it all starts looking the same. When some of the sibyls of this crisis said "it will be worse than you think." I had to reply, what, worse than genocide, international crime conspiracy, mass murder, child sex slavery rings....? I mean, read any history, and all the most vile acts humans are capable of come screaming out of our nightmares.
I grew up with hatred screamed at me. I ate rage every day. It's all too easy for me to imagine it.
