Putty

A week in the house, and the dark paint on these grey days is getting to me. So, I got a sample of a lighter hue, and slapped it on the wall. Somewhat terra cotta. It's certainly better.

After seeing that color in daylight, it looked too much like Silly Putty. So I went back, and I think I have the better color chosen now. Paint tomorrow.

Needed enough idle time, to be properly rested and bored enough to want to take care of this sort of project. Boredom is sadly underrated.

Some previous posts on Names.

I love the name Zhoen and think it fits you like a glove. And Moby, dear, dear Moby. I loves me some black cat! But then you knew that didn't you?

Because you have excellent taste.

Apparently the Black Panther movie is helping more people to see the beauty in black cats, adoption rates for them are improving. Once you have a black cat as a friend, you really appreciate how smart and kind they are.

Lovely relaxing pictures of cat giving us a good example..

Its fascinating just how much different light can change a colour and indeed other colours next to it. Also what you're painting it on.

Yes, boredom or the ability to actually tackle that chore with the lowest priority setting. Color!
Yesterday I saw the first purple crocus showing in a yard. And when I got home I saw yellow crocus blooms in my yard. Welcome, March.

gz,

As you would know, yes, color is changeable, light and context, shadow. As I look at it now, it looks nearly black, which is not a good inside color. Only afraid that I am, as usual, underestimating how much time and effort painting takes. And it's ALWAYS harder and more time consuming than I imagine.

Nimble.
Saw crocuses in a neighbor's yard yesterday. Dylan shocked, but this is crocuses. They come up through the snow.
