Never had much use for V day. Don't even need half price chocolate day anymore. Chocolate is fine, but I get what I need in small amounts routinely.

Taking every crumb of hope for the breaking dam of scandal and treason gushing over the political landscape. I am hyper vigilant, as most abused kids tend to be. Ignoring all of it much more anxiety inducing, so I obsess. Dreamed the old fart had grabbed a secret service agent's gun, shot his entire cabinet, then ran around the white house naked, while unwitting agents tried to figure out how to constrain him, finally deciding to taser him.
Got a chance to deny being White. My paleness does not mean anything, save a tendency to burn in the sun. Detest the very idea of private law, privilege.

So many like it. Abe, the Japanese envoy had a similar look of contempt and dismay. Melania's candid looks of being trapped. Senator Al Franken's assessment of 45 being nuts. This won't go on 4 years. Certainly not 8 years. Eight months is stretching it. The fart is looking blown out at eight weeks.
The damage being done is dreadful. But maybe, if we pay attention and work hard, this will become an opportunity to fix long, nagging issues. Brought to the light and scraped away. Painful, but necessary.

reading my twitter feed every morning has been amazing. if this was a tv show, you'd drop it for the unrealistic portrayal of a raging buffoon -" surely nobody could be that inept! that's bad writing!" and yet...
I was looking for a German crossword clue the other day, 'a type of drama in lewd, harsh language' - grotesque. It made sense.

I have hope that this will all play out well for the country and we can all come together again smarter and relieved that our constitution overcame a great threat. Meanwhile, I worry about our vulnerability at this time.
We're pretty pleased, here in Canada, about how Trudeau's visit worked out on Monday. With respect to NAFTA, I'm looking forward to a change that increases the duty-free limit.
Debridement isn't fun, for those doing it or those who are having it done.

I was a pretty good scrub once. Now, I pretty much stick to circulating, eyes aren't what they were. And, thank you.
I thought Abe's reaction after the idiot held onto his hand forEVER was hilarious but Trudeau's reaction and initial hesitation was equally funny. And today's news conference with Netan-yahoo had some funny moments too. The man has no concept of how ridiculous he appears and how many people think he is an ass. Have patience, Zhoen, as the old saying goes . . "this too shall pass."
