Yay.

The new teapot, and it's first cup of tea. I'm really happy with it, pours well, good size, and although I wasn't fond of the color in the store, it looks very appealing in the kitchen. Well, and I tend to see the beauty of useful things, once I know they are useful. Had a pair of scissors once, thought the reddish handles were ugly, until I started using them, and fell in love. Realized they were gorgeous.
Love imparts beauty, reveals it, recognizes in both parties.
Thanks for all the encouragement. I've been reading all the comments. I'll reply sometime soon.

So contented.

What a lovely, unusual-shaped pot. I've never seen one like it, and I do love that color.
So glad to see you back blogging, too.

Cheers to the new round teapot.
And 'pot' is a wonderful word, so useful.
It is nice when repair jobs work out to be simpler and/or cheaper than what was expected. This does not always happen.
Have a nice weekend!
Crow,
I've seen similar shapes for pitchers, but not for a teapot. It has a wire mesh infuser inside, which is handy. The lid is a slight mismatch, which doesn't matter to me.
It's good to be back to my routine, and not have to shell out for a new laptop. Or use Dylan's computer instead. Writing here is like having pen and paper and access to a post office, and a newspaper. Without it I felt very cut off. Even for just a few days.
Nimble,
Pot and Mug, both excellent words of great earthiness.
Phil,
We got lucky, sure. Balances the 2k plumbing job when we first moved in, for the washer hookups that turned into replacing the drain, concrete and jack hammers and all.
