April 1st sun marker, about 1930.
A more dignified Eleanor. Not to mention furry.

Single most potent and affecting war movie I've ever seen. Based on a Graham Greene story, which explains a lot. Still. Gods.
Went the Day Well.
Recommended, with reservations for sensitive folks. That it was made in 1942 makes it much more tense and violent. That what the SS was doing all over Europe was similarly brutal makes it all the worse. Innocent and courageous people die, and not gently.
Feeling a bit punched at the moment.
But, wow.

think i'll skip it. don't do too well with certain things. hate being reminded what we're capable of, though i don't deny it, heaven forbid!
pc,
Yeah, don't go there. I've never seen A Clockwork Orange because I knew it would bother me way too much. The most upsetting aspect of the above story is the horror visiting such an ordinary little place, and not holding back.
