Housiversary

Three years ago yesterday we moved in here with Moby.

We had no idea how hard it would be, how good. D had a nightmare last week that we had to sell the house. I've occasionally had dreams where we had to find an apartment, only to wake realizing, No!no!we have a house, we don't need to move anymore!

Made fruit salad this evening for dinner, figuring we both needed a tasty, high fiber meal. And the kiwis looked lovely. Banana, apple, hazelnuts, yoghurt, all together.

Happy belated housiversary. Our date is November 30th and it passed without much notice. Mind, we've been house/home owners since 2001.

Oh, happy day!

I made fruit salad last night too---the oranges are in fine form.

I lift a cup of fine jasmine tea to you, D, your felin-amily on the occasion of celebrating House the Home!

went back to read Moby's earlier posts. Did he write about Eleanor? (I didn't find anything; was wondering. Her anniversary is coming up soon, isn't it?)

Moby is a good writer. Seems to fit the personality suggested by his pictures.

A fine thing to celebrate.

Rou, Fresca, Nimble, RR,

We love our home. We feel very blessed.

Phil,
13 years, I don't know if we'll still be celebrating specifically. But we did live in a ton of apartments.

Crow,
Well, he was pretty freaked out for a long time after she came home. Perhaps I'll ask him to do a post soon.
