Our code from Monday a difficult diagnosis, but eventually, has pacemaker, and our anesthesiologist no doubt saved hizzer life. The GP being useless - treating persistent heartburn* with antacids, but not ordering a simple ECG. Bad thing for a good thing, to have it happen under the stress of surgery in a hospital with a former cardiac anesthesiologist. Instead of, say, in a fender bender, or at their semi-rural home. I expect patient will be back to have the small surgery eventually. Once our anesthesia head feels better about his own heart. He took it all very personally. I got this news from him today.
Another busy day, and again, I had the late room. These things come in spurts. I may even get overtime this week. Fine, since next week I will be taking some vacation days to hang out with D over his birthday. When I do six cases in a rush, I begin to forget what I've done this time, since I've done it five times already, isn't that enough? No, no, I guess not.
Pooped.
If I get the long day tomorrow, well, I guess I get the long day tomorrow. And some time & a half.
*Especially true for those who are post menopausal, heart symptoms are not as well studied nor as clear as for male heart disease. But heartburn can be for either gender, and I'm not specifying that of the patient who coded here.

does seem to be complicated to diagnose female heart disease! I have just been checked out and all is well. My skipping beats are my liver taking its time to recover. On another subject, has anyone else noticed how much more difficult the robot words are to decipher? I am frequently put off leaving a comment because I have no idea what the letters are.Just to let you know that I am still one of your readers. I also have this anti spam protection, but the robots are smarter than I am because I still get spam... Perhaps I'll just leave one massive comment evry so often!
greeetings from th maine woods.
maybe i will get that heartburn checked out, eh?
Rosie,
I've actually found them a bit easier, even though I'm sure I've gotten them wrong. If there was some way to whitelist people, I would do that in a heartbeat. But when I let everyone in, I wind up with spam.
Blugger does have a spam detection system, I think it helps if you are diligent about stomping them out quickly. It's under Comments.
flask,
Not a bad idea, really. They can usually do those in any GP's office.
