Evelyn studied Elizabethan embroidery, and wrote eloquent essays about elephants. She kohled her elegant eyes to appear more Egyptian than a single grandfather could endow. Her excursion to England with dear Edward, to deliver an eulogy for an elderly Epigramist of her acquaintance, entailed eleven days in Essex to discover if eels could be caught using an erector set. Evidently, they could.
Electrocuted in an elemental storm on the eve of Epiphany in Eureka, she expired with equanimity, and an excess of energy.

Elegant.
As someone with mild synesthesia (letters and numbers have strong color associations for me), I'm struck by the effect of so much of the same color in one paragraph. I'm used to thinking of letters and words with color, but paragraphs and pages usually have enough of a mix that they blur all together. It's cool to see an "e" story that's all glinting with silver, though, or a "d" story that's all dark red.
I think these get better and better!
enjoyable
Entertaining ... and my favorite to date as I am an Elizabeth and I love Elizabethan literature (not embroidery). ;o)
Extremely evocative of Essex, and our many eels.
Erudite.

Oh, that's wonderful. Keep me up to date on the proper colors, I'd love to add them to the posts.
beth,
I've since thought of many other adjectives for Elizabethan, but I'm not going back to change it now.
Thanks all, this is a lot of fun, and it has the intended effect of keeping me writing.
I can't say that there are any "proper" colors - apparently they're different for each person. But for me, A is yellow-orange, B is blue, C is off-white, D is darker red, E is silverish, and so on. D'you want the whole list? :)
p/h,
Just comment on the letter posts, and I will add it to the main body, if you want to. I think it adds wonderfully.
cool! I warn you, it may start fights with other synesthetes who see a completely different set of colors.
p/h,
If any more come here to read, I will add their colors. There's plenty of room.
