Old

Cold gray dead skin shed.
Changes skree through bare tree limbs.
Booms break up the year.

Oooh, strange! That precious comment was from Beth, but blogger recognized me as Dave. Weird!

I like the word skree though I'm not sure what it means. A very stark and interesting poem. But I was mainly stopping by to say happy new year, and to say I love the title of your novel.

Happy new year, zhoen, may all the dead skin drop off painlessly from our fragile frames letting the fresh new skin bloom unrestrained.
