I love the old black spread, that I got when I escaped the ex, in my first apartment after. Twenty years on, it is badly torn around the edges, faded and thin. So we started looking. Found this at less than 1/3rd the price originally asked, and Moby approves. He's been on it since early morning, off and on.
Just heavy enough to reassure, without being too warm for summer, and a gorgeous color.

It's very nice. And if the cat approves, you know you've done it right.
He has been there the vast majority of the last three days, making his claim. There is nothing more important to urge him off the bed right now. He's not been on the bed much all summer, even at night. We can only assume, it smells right.
Nothing is nicer than a kitty on a neatly made bed. The picture makes me yearn for my long gone Heloise -- and even longer gone Abelard.
