Market

I miss the Haymarket in Boston, but we enjoyed the local Farmer's Market. Only about 75˚F, but with searing sun, felt much hotter. We left shortly after 0930. Lots of happy dogs. And D. very happy with hot preserves. I tried the one he selected, and have to admit it was nice enough, but not really to my taste. Got tomatoes and green beans, nuts and berries. Most of it is art & crafter booths, very etsy type stuff. Musicians all over.

I enjoy walking through markets, but never buy anything.

Farmers markets are a great invention. I sometimes see fruit and veg there that I have never seen before.

Pacian,
Agreed. Surprized us that we found anything. The Haymarket in Boston didn't have anything cute, just produce. That was where I got my fruits and veggies every Saturday - the produce in the grocery stores was comparably poor. The farmer's market here is definitely skewed the other way.
