While we waited, I brushed him and trimmed his claws - which he was very tolerant of in a way he is NOT when we are home. Eleanor tolerated him snuggling in to her. We just put her in her harness and carried her, which she was pretty ok with. Zeppo moaned the whole way there in the carrier/bag, but was otherwise not terribly distressed. They also cleaned his ears out, he just had his eyes closed the whole time and put up with it all.
They are both out and have shaken off the weird human thing we did.

Does Eleanor go all limp, feeling unable to walk when she has that corset on her?
Whew! good to have that over with. (I imagine the cats saying.)
By far the worst bit of vet visits is getting the cat into the carrier... once at the vets, all is calm!

They were both gentle and tolerant with the Vet and techs. We have good cats, and they are more secure all the time.

She used to low crawl when she had it on, now she just ignores it. She never did the floppy thing.

I think so too. They were feeling a bit off yesterday, after the shots we assume. But they are feeling better today. Zeppo has wanted me to rub his ears, so maybe we can keep them cleaner from now on.

Yeah, Zeppo was challenging, in part because of his spherical shape and weight. But he didn't go nuts, or try to scratch or bite, simply wanted his objections registered officially. Eleanor did better since she's used to her harness, we didn't even try to put her in the bag - although we brought it with us in case.
