Water

When I was small, I would throw water up with my hands, and close my eyes, to remember that frozen moment. Flung water seemed the most beautiful thing.

The rain drenched, and spouted out of the gutters, today. Thunder, lightening. I didn't see any hail, although it sounded like it. Rain is difficult to photograph. Impossible to share the experience completely. This is as close as I can get right now.

In the winter here, when it gets down to the silly coldness of -40 C it can be fun to go outside and toss a mug of boiling water into the air - it completely vanishes into the air.
That being said, I still prefer the summer :)

Great photos, dramatic weather. I hope Moby is coping with it all.

I appreciated your previous photo of Moby, but Google was having a strop (as it often is these days) and wouldn't allow me to comment.

Good photos, as usual (I'm sure there are many that I've missed recently).

We haven't had the catharsis that is a decent thunderstorm during this current spell of warm weather, and I feel ever-so-slightly cheated.

I like throwing out the tail end of Mol's water when she's had a drink in the car onto the dusty car park, the shapes it makes in the air.

I am very intrigued about the boiling water vanishing in the cold...

Very clever. I like it. The running water of a stream is the sound I like best. Not so much the thunder of a mighty falls though. Ok I can't stand loud much of anything loud.... especially TV ads and shouting loud and angry. :)
