Approval
I can't imagine why I never get carded at all, these days... . It still startles me, at times, how white it all is. Not bad, just, whoa! Is that me? D took this of me, at my request. I rather like it, although I do keep thinking of Cousin Itt.

Nice! Doesn't remind me of Cousin Itt at all :-)
I've never been carded, mind you, I've only been to the kind of place that cards people less than a handful of times in my life.
Dale,
Heh.
Phil,
The law is pretty enforced here, so many places check anyone who looks under 30.
I don't understand about 'carded'.
It's lovely, so even, mine's much more patchy, though I don't mind.
Lucy,
Carded = asked for one's ID card to prove one is old enough to be served alcohol, in some cases, even to enter a bar. The age limit is 21 in most states. Serving alcohol to anyone underage is a crime that can cost a bar/restaurant heavy fines, or it's liquor license.
Your hair is beautiful.
