Flop

Nothing quite as heartening as being greeted upon arriving home. In our case, by a cat doing the Large Flop Of Welcome.
And later, when he comes to sit nearby, because he wants to.

Essays. Meanderings and mutterings. Lots of photos of our cat. Counting coup on fifty years existence.

Oh, how I miss have a cat. A cuddle-loving, squishy one. Sigh.
Love purrs out of them, doesn't it?
I will miss the two who live at my house when daughter moves and takes them with her.
:)
I love the Large Flop of Welcome, so very feline.
I'm feeding a cat in the temporary absence of her humans, her welcome is lots of barely audible (and very cute) eeks.
PG,
Moby's not a really cuddly/squishy cat, although he has his moments. But he's kind and grateful, and very good company.
den,
does.
Crow,
We hope Moby lives a very, very long time.
trou,
eeks, aw.
Wanted to come back and tell you that the shyer of our two cats has begun talking to me, seeking out my hand to caress his spine...and has started doing the flop of welcome right under my feet.
As I struggle not to fall on him, my tired heart beats a little easier and a grin spreads across my face before I know it.
I do so love the kitties.
:)
