Ho-ly! I am always amazed at folks being in the right place at the right time and STAYING to video such an event.
Looks like the county road commission was trying to save some money on the understructure of that bridge. Holy cow!
Thank heavens there was little if any traffic and that the meltdown happened in daylight.

Yeah, a bit of tunnel vision, but cool.

Could have been in a National Park, or some undeveloped rural area, where a lot of understructure wasn't allowed. And there was a culvert under there, so it's probably a place that has broken through before. Still, explains a lot about why such roads wash out.
