Enlightenment (Photos)
Moby was stalking his enlightenment this morning. Bright sun reflected off my macbook, fascinating him more than his micetoys. This went on for a solid hour.
My mom called the reflections on the kitchen ceiling from the sun off the dishwater the Kitchen Fairies, a game I loved. Apparently, cats do as well.

Thanks so much for these photos. A splendid gift!
Indoor alien eyes!
To my kids ... it was "Tinker Bell" and they grew out of it too quickly for me.
I wish I could chase my enlightenment. Alas! It is proving too elusive!
My cat's mostly too smart for that. I try for a while, but he gets bored long before I do.
That says something about the two of us, I'm sure...
"Stalking our enlightenment"--what a wonderful term. Thanks for telling me about Pace's. I always need to treat myself in some little way when I visit the hospital. Too bad we missed each other there. Now I'm imagining you in the OR (right?), among all the masked, kind faces that looked after me.

P,
He doesn't do this usually. Just caught his attention that day. Reminds me of an old Steve Martin sketch, where his cat maxes out his credit cards on cat toys.
"Sure! They're fun!..... "
Patry,
OR, yes, orthopedics though. I do try to be kind, it's a scary place from horizontal.
We used to call them 'jackies' - don't know why. These are particularly good ones.
Very cute.
Our housedog is amused in other ways - today she was attacking the vacuum cleaner as usual as I was using it. Not stalking enlightenment, just biting what sucks.
